What's New in Node 6?

Node.js has seen rapid and widespread adoption in the web development community, but for a long time it had a reputation for being slow to grow and evolve. 

Not any more! With a new open-source foundation, Node has moved to a six-month release cycle and is rapidly adding features. The latest long-term support version, 6.x, has more than 98% compatibility with the JavaScript ES6 (ECMAScript 2015) syntax.
